Henky Mantophani – Director

Having been working in this field for more than 20 years, Henky is experienced in regulatory & mandatory residential energy reduction assessments using different applications to improve the thermal performance, energy efficiency and overall sustainability of the building.
Henky provides advice to architects and developers on cost effective solutions to meet their regulatory energy, thermal performance & water saving requirements, as well as strategies to improve the developments sustainable design. Henky is an accredited NatHERS Assessor with ABSA and uses NatHERS approved software for modelling residential developments.

Adriana Segovia – Senior ESD Engineer

Adriana has over 15 years experience in conducting ESD & BASIX assessments for large and small developments in both residential & commercial sectors from Development Application through to Construction Certificate.
Adriana has offered advice to architects, developers and project managers in various types of developments on how to improve their energy, water, thermal performance and sustainability. Recommendations are customised to suit the constraints of the site to satisfy regulatory and or voluntary requirements requested by the client. Adriana is also an accredited NatHERS assessor with ABSA and uses NatHERS approved software for modelling residential developments. She is also a Green Star Accredited Professional.

Arjun Adhikari – External Associate Senior ESD/Mechanical Engineer (Thermal Environmental)

Arjun has provided consulting services across a wide range of building sectors. Arjun provides advice to architects and engineers on passive low energy and cost effective solutions via integrated sustainable design strategies including low/zero carbon technologies or renewable energy. He uses various computer simulation techniques to validate the design and provide design review of the mechanical services and advise on further energy efficiency improvements and quantify building energy performance. Arjun can carry out all levels of energy audits as per Australian Standard, from which he derives hands on approach to realistic building performance and practical aspect of energy efficiency within buildings.
Arjun is responsible for client management, certification using various rating systems, ESD project management, sustainability facilitation workshop, providing advice on building thermal modelling and overall project delivery.

Fu Siong Hie – External Associate Senior Acoustic Engineer (Acouras)

Fu Siong has 20 years experience in his field. He has direct involvement in many large and small residential and commercial developments engaging directly with developers, architects and builders in both the private and public sectors for major environmental and building projects. His expertise includes Building acoustic assessment and design, the analysis and assessment of environmental impact of noise and vibration, assessment and control of mechanical services noise and ventilation systems, knowledge of local and state, noise and vibration regulations/guidelines, and on site/field of noise and vibration investigation, measurements and compliance testing.
Fu Siong is responsible for the co-ordination, assessment and technical review of projects that could be potentially impacted by sources of noise and vibration. These projects may include undertaking an assessment in accordance with the following guidelines and statutory requirements.

Dr Seifu Bekele, PhD, FIEAust – External Associate Principal Wind Engineer (GWTS)

Seifu obtained a Masters Degree of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, and a PhD in the field of Wind Engineering from the University of Western Ontario. During his postgraduate studies, Seifu undertook research and consulting projects involving analytical studies, field monitoring, wind tunnel testing, CFD analysis plus casual teaching of fluid mechanics and wind engineering related courses. Upon completion of his doctorate, Seifu commenced employment at University of Western Ontario, during which time he gained valuable ‘hands on’ wind engineering experience in managing a wide range of projects around the world. In Australia, Seifu worked for nine years as Principal Wind Engineer with main role in wind engineering and Computational Fluid Dynamics.
